Holiness to the Lord

Que Tal Familia!

Well this week was a rim filled uh oh spilling juice all over the floor week. We had two lessons this week that just left me filled with gratitude for my savior. I saw two investigators who when we first encounted them had little to no faith. they were almost considering themselves atesists. and now they are praying reading and KNOW that they are children of God and he Loves them. I have never been so spirit guided in my Life and my companion and I spoke words that were not ours. DO you want to know what was the secret for these two wonderful lessons?  We focused one hundred precent in the Savior. Nothing else and it made the world of difference. Our focus wasnt even to teach them but to just testify and help them. and I have such a true love for these two woman who I Just met.  It is so wonderful to be serving the Lord. Please keep Mariliana and marta in your prayers!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINNIE!!!!!"
Well lets just skip to the best part of the week shall we!  Saturday, Tinnies birthday, we spent on sacred dedicated ground.  Thats right the temple!  Knowing we would be headed there for quite some time it has been the theme of march.  In tatal we had eighteen people go, six of which were missionaries, five investigatores.  We found ourselves pitching in from our own pockets for some of the members, as this is a huge opportunity that cant be missed and some just cant afford it.  it was 174 pesos... which is about 19american dollars. As missionaries we have teh rule of not being alleowed to enter the temple. So we spent form 9 until 5 on temple grounds enjoyinig the care free day. I have to admit itw as extremely difficult

B-ball!

Note from the editor: Happy 9 months Hermana
Alley! (Mom, she really ISN'T pregnant!)
Hello family! to start out let me just mention how serious fall is taken here, one day, the official start of the season, and I am already shivering in my dansko missionary walkers... that's right fall has started and I do not know how I am goinig to make it though the winter. it just chills right through you with the ehaven wind.  brrrr. maybe I will make a trip to Italy to start out the spring! I didn't mind missing the us of a winter this year and I don't think I would mind missing a humid one either!  brrrr

Someone once said... "I know that which the lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it.  I do not glory of fmyself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; ayea and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to brign somem soul to repentance and this is my joy. and behold when I see many of my bretheren truly penirent, and coming to the lord their god then is my soul filled with joy then do I remember wat the lord has done for me, ye even heard my prayer ye then I do remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me, ye and that same God did establish his church among them; yea and that same GOd hath called me by a holy calling to preach the word unto this people (argentines) and hath given unto mem much success, in which my joy is full."  alright can you guess you sait it?  Ok its alma, you smart people you!  its good old alma glorying in the Lords work and in the success of ammon and his brethren! Look it up alama 29.  Well this week I could just say amen to this scripture, and end the letter .  so amen. talk to you next week.

a week of SUCCESS

wow I feel different... I feel strange.. I am having a hard time seeing the computer, is it just me or am I more wrinkly... I think I found a grey hair today... I think I am starting to lose my teeth... do I smell like a rest home...am I letting go gas without even realizing it...  I am so old. 20. 20!  I remember the day I was so excited to turn double diggits. will someone get me a time machine, I miss the days of having the hardest decision being which color of crayon to pick!  but alas, this is the life that we live and away goes my teenager years. BUT NEVER FEAR! I am young at heart, and as my friend peter says ¨I wont grow up¨infact I may just stop by neverland after my mission!
Ok so I am pretty sure I said this before, but here we go again! this week was steller!  seriously we had so many great things happen my little piggy fingures cant keep up!  lets start of with monday night... slightly sad because I knew you were eating cheesecake. I hope bubbus bought tuxido in my honor... tuesday, we had a noche do hogar in honor of the ashton family! we had quite the turn out!  for the event I made a word search and I guess you could say I got a little to carried away... haha everyone was complaining because it was about 40 words and naturally I didnt make it easy!!  we had 3 investigatores and less actives and everyone loved it!! SUCCESS!  wednesday nothing exciting..  Thursday we had a celebration for the 172 relief society, I can imagine this was huge in zion utah.  We went all out, and pracitcally had every member attend!  and once again two investigatores! I loved the chariety themed message and well the spirit of just a group of women together... We just rock it with the spirit and once again a huge SUCCESS!  that night my companion made me a cake out of candy bars drenched in chocolate! she had bought party hats and the hermanas from sandillo stayed over with us, thats right sleep over!  And guess what I had held off to open my packages!  can I just say I was giddy happy!  send me a whole bunch of seasoning, stickers, treats, things to primp myself with, photos, a book, and new clothing and I just get happy!  from my package youd probably think I was turning a younger age, but man I never loved so many great treasures!  and it was HUGE! I admit it, I am spoiled! thank you!

Friday, Happy birthday to me! we slept through our alarmas but by some miracle we woke up fifteen mintues before our bus was to head out for chivilcoy!  we hurried and bussled as we could not miss our opportunity for zone conference!  I know right, how lucky am I to have this on my birthday!  We stopped off at bragado for a breakfast and it was cinnamon rolls and cake. everyone in the district sang thejolly song to me!  it was lovely!  then off we were to chivilcoy.  Now I always get so excited for these thingis.  its practically like putting in a fast food order, as the revelation pours out faster than you eat!  Seriously so wonderful, How can they read my minds so well!  It was even better because it was march madness themed and who doesnt like watching epic basketball fails and then relating it to the good old work of the Lord. man I miss playing the sport, but I came out pumped!  the assistants to the president had a special section on miracles in the mission.  they showed three differenet letters from missionaries written to president.

Stale Cookie

Hello Good old 801!

To start out I would like to make a shout out to very special people in my life,
1. Sarah Cope, Today we all know it is your special day, and to celebrate I brought myself a big old salad and will be eating chocolate in honor of you!  Being away from you today is going to be difficult as we always celebrate together, and go loco during march madness birthdays!  I am so extremely grateful for grandma for giving birth to you today and I am so very grateful to follow the line of your daughter!  I wouldn't take my looks away for anything, because I look like my mom :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! go be spoiled! (hint family)
2.  Leah Rebecca, I saw the pictures of the blessing and about lost it... ok you caught me I lost it!  what a beautiful baby girl dressed in white!  the first blessing and I can image it was heaven directed!  I would not have missed the moment for anything but this mission, seriously she is an angel!

Alright lets just jump dive right into this week, shall we!  This week was just an average stale cookie.... you know, a stale cookies isnt all that good, but you eat it anyways and when you stumble upon the  the chocoloate chips you are happy. even thought they are still stale (hello its chocolate). Well that's about my week!  we had some good chocoloate of chip moments which I will be focusing on!

Another transfer bites the dust

Well Transfers were this week as everyone and the blue moon knows it. ok so maybe it isn't that big of a deal for everyone outside of missions but for us its HUGE! every six week you go through heat sweats and your heart starts pumping harder than the base.. haha I wasn't too worried though... and guess where that got me....
definitely not mooooooving out!  (that's right the cows are still singing and I ain't leaving good ole 25 de mayo.)  Neither my companion, we have another transfer together and we couldn't be more thrilled about it.  So to celebrate we bought a kilo of ice cream and a nice fat steak.  Yum!  There were some changes though as one of the three areas here closed and with that went two of our sisters. this upcoming week we are welcoming in a martimonio couple, which means instead of having an  18 year old elder as the president of our rama we are going to have Him!  its the family ashton, who I adore!  I am thrilled!  so what happens to the area of the other sister missionaries?  well it dissolves into ours! so this week we are going to be working with all of there investigators and our area is twice as big!  and they have a lot more country side and dirt roads. My thighs are going to be toned! haha  So that's it for transfer news, in 5 more weeks I will have more juicy details!

FOr the last two months corso has been going on every Saturday night without fail. well today and tomorrow is a two day special event of an all day corso... wooo .... so everything is shut down, EVERYTHING!  luckily we have a very nice member that is letting me communicate with you! and to start out I am once again going to copy christines idea... (like always.. hehe tinnie!)  MISSION LIFE ON A BIKE.... ARGENTINA STYLE!
