Monday we started out with the Familia Meza.
They are our missionaries this week. We let the two girls sport our
name tags as they planned together a lesson to teach us. The plan of
salvation. They all started our grumpy but quickly turned into little
angels as they knew a ton about their heavenly father. We giggled lots
and at the end they gave us big hugs and told us that they loved us.
dont tell my comp but one of them whispered into my hear that Im her
very favorite missionary. SCore. haha
Tuesday
We headed with the familia meza to teach carlos and loudres, their
referencia that is our progressing family. They have been investigating
for 3 years but for the first time ever came to church with us. We are
pretty stocked at how they are finally progressing. We taught about a
house of orden. everyone has their chores and role in the family. We
played some games and before you know it Loudres was telling us her
miracle. She always had beef about not receiving her answer. She says
she has been praying just like everyone tells her to do, but never
receves anything. Well this week she felt an answer very strongy. and
admitted that we have been right all along. Do you hear the angels
singing... I do... they sing in castellano so beauitfully!
MIercoles,
we spent with claudia and jaun (the same family that fed me asado... to
clear that up with mom it is an argentino barbaque. all you eat is
meat, nothing else to go along with it. They cook up every part of the
cow, pig, chicken, you name the anmial sometimes lamb and even the
stranger rabbit and dog. luckily this was a little lower key and we only
ate the first three options. that is what an asado is.) anyways we
brought with us an inactive for YEARS. she cant come to church because
her mother in law is a little cray cray... she is testigo... anyways she
escaped and we spent the night with the theme of STANDARD OF LIBERTY.
for our game we took random objects and dressed up with our armor!
We
also had a killer conference... four hours of just straight up
listening... we fouced on the book of mormon. I came out feeling super
guilty that I have taken adventage of it my whole life. and that if I
dont change I will one day be put in the box of shame for nothing being
wiser about a book proof Read by Christ. therefore I have dedicated
myself to applying it more to my life and everyones.
Jueves.
We had a family home evening with inactives and their friend (a detail
only for the family is that the firend is a cross dresser. that made
things actually really interesting lesson cant wait to teach the ley de
castidad) we talked about the word of wisdom, and than domingo we had
three of them headed to church with us after years of no show! Miracle
Sabado.
Family home evening with the stake! We werent invited by the elders
who actually set it up, but we got hears say so made a showing with our
investigatores... hehe it was foucuesd on the atonment and after we
played some pretty funny games that had us hearty laughinig. It was a
great turn out, I think we will be applying the activity more
frequently.
Well small details on everything,
but dont you worry I am planning on bringing all my activites home for
you to try. We get creative and why not have some good wholesome fun,
there isnt anything better! A great week and now its time to start
fresh again! VAMOS!
