Tuesday
I started out with a blessing from my liders of the zone. Elder garay
and elder collins gave me one of the most beautifully worded and phrased
blessings. I felt the spirit so strongly and although its dificult to
remember all the details I could feel the love that My heavenly father
has for me and his Son Jesus Christ. I am very grateful to see the
priesthood in action and to have to it so closely available when I need
it. It was even better in castillano. I sure do love this langauge. I
know that as I go on with the weeks I will be using what I felt and
heard as a strength and backbone to completing and giving all to my
purpose as a missionary.
We followed the
blessing by a super great zone meeting. we are super caseros and
everyone was given a character by the leadrs.. bet you could guess what
mine is... thats right wonder woman. the only thing I can remember
about her is her clothing... haha and that she definitely isnt blond.
but it fits right? we focused on the atonement and there wasnt a dry
eye in the bunch. I just love when we all get together and its just
feel good time! pumps me up to work and do myo best.
wednesday
we had capaticiones with president and two other zones. we went over
the conference we had exactly a week ago and I must say revising and
regurgating was twice as better. I came out learning so much more than I
had missed the prior week. We are focusing the missionar right now in
the book of mormon. we are all under using it, expecially me. Its time
to a spring freshing up! I also liked an anogy he said.. that as
missionaries we need to be in the middle of the rivers rapids. its
definitly the hardest but thats where we should be. that is where the
nutrition is, and really where its the most fun. so get a swimming
enough of just sticking your toes in get a treading.
This
week we did quite a lot of service. We painted a house, touched up a
hospital by painting, lawn work, and odd and ed jobs. It was for
helping hands day of service. (you have no idea how many cigarett buds I
picked up on the lawn of the hospital...). I could resist and the
hospital in one location has a print of hermana alley. mabye one day
someone will find it... hehe I love serivice there really isnt anything
that makes you more happy. and the best part is everyone was super
impressed and interseted in the churhc after... just goes to show you
that its the work of the Lord in action.
Love you all and take care of a certain returned missionary for me! Have a wonderful week!
Treat christine to an argentine breakfast. it consists of bread with butter and mate tea.... yum! almost a dallas, almost.
"some of our investigatores that live in a villa... a lot of houses in a tiny place. he came to church yesterday, ordoney and olga." |
"LECHON! its baby pig.... can you believe it... I about cried when I saw it because it still has its little curled up tail... it was for the cumple of a member!" |
