a week of SUCCESS

wow I feel different... I feel strange.. I am having a hard time seeing the computer, is it just me or am I more wrinkly... I think I found a grey hair today... I think I am starting to lose my teeth... do I smell like a rest home...am I letting go gas without even realizing it...  I am so old. 20. 20!  I remember the day I was so excited to turn double diggits. will someone get me a time machine, I miss the days of having the hardest decision being which color of crayon to pick!  but alas, this is the life that we live and away goes my teenager years. BUT NEVER FEAR! I am young at heart, and as my friend peter says ¨I wont grow up¨infact I may just stop by neverland after my mission!
Ok so I am pretty sure I said this before, but here we go again! this week was steller!  seriously we had so many great things happen my little piggy fingures cant keep up!  lets start of with monday night... slightly sad because I knew you were eating cheesecake. I hope bubbus bought tuxido in my honor... tuesday, we had a noche do hogar in honor of the ashton family! we had quite the turn out!  for the event I made a word search and I guess you could say I got a little to carried away... haha everyone was complaining because it was about 40 words and naturally I didnt make it easy!!  we had 3 investigatores and less actives and everyone loved it!! SUCCESS!  wednesday nothing exciting..  Thursday we had a celebration for the 172 relief society, I can imagine this was huge in zion utah.  We went all out, and pracitcally had every member attend!  and once again two investigatores! I loved the chariety themed message and well the spirit of just a group of women together... We just rock it with the spirit and once again a huge SUCCESS!  that night my companion made me a cake out of candy bars drenched in chocolate! she had bought party hats and the hermanas from sandillo stayed over with us, thats right sleep over!  And guess what I had held off to open my packages!  can I just say I was giddy happy!  send me a whole bunch of seasoning, stickers, treats, things to primp myself with, photos, a book, and new clothing and I just get happy!  from my package youd probably think I was turning a younger age, but man I never loved so many great treasures!  and it was HUGE! I admit it, I am spoiled! thank you!

Friday, Happy birthday to me! we slept through our alarmas but by some miracle we woke up fifteen mintues before our bus was to head out for chivilcoy!  we hurried and bussled as we could not miss our opportunity for zone conference!  I know right, how lucky am I to have this on my birthday!  We stopped off at bragado for a breakfast and it was cinnamon rolls and cake. everyone in the district sang thejolly song to me!  it was lovely!  then off we were to chivilcoy.  Now I always get so excited for these thingis.  its practically like putting in a fast food order, as the revelation pours out faster than you eat!  Seriously so wonderful, How can they read my minds so well!  It was even better because it was march madness themed and who doesnt like watching epic basketball fails and then relating it to the good old work of the Lord. man I miss playing the sport, but I came out pumped!  the assistants to the president had a special section on miracles in the mission.  they showed three differenet letters from missionaries written to president.
the second one I began reading and realized it sounded strangely familiar... I think my eyes were as big as a bugs as I realized it was my letter!   the third one as well!! transladed into perfect catellano and read out loud for everyone to here!  It was my letter about finding our family in the rain and then completing all of our goals in three days.  Naturally I got emotional as I was reminded that I really am so blessed in many ways!  It was a dream completed on the mission as I remember thinking the first day in the mission, ¨man how cool would it be to have president use a letter of mine for the whole mission.¨ naturally I figured it would never happen... and you are right it was a memorable experience!  and after I read every scripture I could about miracles, have I mentioned the mission life is full of them! my companion and I list one in agendas every day, I am sure you could do the same with a normal day of work or school.  After being richly filled to the brim of spiritual goodness, we had lunch and everyone sang to me.  what a cherry on top!  we headed back to our area, and we had a lesson with our soon to be baptized benjamin and they had made pizza. It was quite the literally perfect birthday as a missionary in argentina.  Thanks to... well everything!  Everyone could use more spiritual on the birthday Ive decided, it makes it more worth it and memorable and I would not have spent it anywhere else!
"and hermanas in campo!"

Sunday, we had president carter and hermana carter visit for our new president ashton. we had worked hard saturday to have investigatores be there, like really hard and blessing came flowing behind the work as we had 8 investigators!! a record for 25 de mayo!  it was perfect because all the talks were right on the target and our little capillo was filled, every seat!  I was so proud of my pueblo!  After we had lunch with president and the ashtons and I was definitely on my best behavior.  and really enjoyed getting to know them better!!  I really admire and respect the Carters!

"Finally got a picture with the carters..."

Well this week brings even crazier things, As its divisions on tuedsay, my HUMP DAY INI THE MISSION on wednesday, and 2 baptisms on saturday!! sounds like things are going great here in pastures! THe more you serve the Lord the more you find yourself happy and becoming like him, and for the reason I will serve forever!    I hope all is well in the states!

LOVE YOU!!!

"instead of candles they have fireworks on their cakes! oh yahhhh!"
