Que Tal Familia!
Well lets just skip to the best part of the week shall we! Saturday,
Tinnies birthday, we spent on sacred dedicated ground. Thats right the
temple! Knowing we would be headed there for quite some time it has
been the theme of march. In tatal we had eighteen people go, six of
which were missionaries, five investigatores. We found ourselves
pitching in from our own pockets for some of the members, as this is a
huge opportunity that cant be missed and some just cant afford it. it
was 174 pesos... which is about 19american dollars. As missionaries we
have teh rule of not being alleowed to enter the temple. So we spent
form 9 until 5 on temple grounds enjoyinig the care free day. I have to
admit itw as extremely difficult
to not be allowed to enter This being a unique opportunity and all. I sat on the bench covered by pink and white flowers looked at the pure whit beakon to the world and just yerned so baldy to experience what was inside. I know exactly what teakes place, I know the blessings and promise keeping covenants. I was so close but wanted to be closer!!! overall the day went smoothly and the special spirit cant be mistaken by anyone, expecially our investigators. We listened to a brief eight minute talk by the couselor of the temple president and with the special edition of the liahona were able to testify clearly of aneternal work. Overall I am extremely grateful for the experience because it testified so clearly to me on so many things. Having a temple every fiveteenmintues is a blessing that I will never take for granted ever and I will always have a current temple recommend at hand to be found worthy to enter with in the walls as a guest in HIs house. I konw that the temple is literally the house of the Lord and there we are instructed and prepared. there we are untiled as families and taught.Temples and the work there testify of the infinite atonement of our Savior. I know that baptism is the pot into the celstial kingdom and the temple the port for exaltation. The timple is a beakon, pointing to heaven, its the pure love of christ in physical form, the light that is set up on the hill. The spirti within each of us is eternal and here on earth its just a temporal journey. in the temple, we are placed under a "sealing that time cannot destory and death can not disrupt" I am a temple loving person and I agree with Good old Preach my gospel when it says the temple is the most sacred place on earth and not to far behind is the home. So sorry family, but we are bond to live happily ever after.
