| One year completed in the field! |
everyone take a walk with me
down memory lane... come on it will be enjoyable lets think back to
the age of back and white tvs. for the benefit of mom and dad I will
say that it wasnt to long ago... now there is a series I absoutely love,
a re d head hero of m ine, LUCY. what a charcter what a better way to
gain a strong set of ab s, by laughing. Well the chocoate factory
episode is which I would like you to think about. She is owrking in a
factory, ut cant keep up with the packaging, so naturally the only
solution bturns to eating the chocoalate or shoveling them into every
possible vacant spot. I am laughing in this very second as I love this
episode... haha Well turns out eit is even greater finding a connection
with missionary work. this hweek on the converbelt isnt chocoaltes but
miracles, which are just as rico!!! Its ben hard to keep up with them
and I dont think there are enough letters in the alphabet nor paper from
the trees to express my gratitude TO begin with a miracle with
president carter... I <am staying in 25 de mayo!!! not I wont miss
out on my quieridos amgios wedding and baptism!! second, we had a family
home evening and 14 peopole were in attedndance. mayb that doesnt mean
a lot for the stakes of the world, but for a rama it means lot.
Heavens means that there were so many bodies in the church that we
didnt even have to turn on the heater! its a miracle!! we have doubled,
tripled! wednsday, we headed to a farwell of president and hermana
carter. We watched a couple of videos with pictures from their imssion
and heard some of their favorite experiences. almost nothing different
though from a regular transfer meeting. A little dissapointed that
there wasnt more stories, like a homecoming with out even mentioning the
mission.. but oh well! we finished off by forming a wedding-funeral
line. Happy and sad as every one said their final goodbye to president
and hermana. our new presdient arrives saturday.
Thrusday is a miracle day because it means I am one
years old! wahh ah ahhh can you truly honestly believe it. Just one year ago I remember
standing on provo stomping grounds and searching for a way out. Al I
have to say now... 12 months later, is that I want to hug a mountain!
and I miss my 25 sweatshirts and 15 sweatpants...and and anyone that
wants social health care should be sent on a foreign country mission.
they will change their mind quite quickly, its horrible. But it is t
rue, what a miracle, I have reached one year!
The chocolates just keep coming. Monica called us
this week. FIrst off she is practically scared of churches, second it
took her so much courage and faith but she asked us for a blessing for
her dad, her m om and herslef. He is very sick and just waitnig to die,
suffereing every second. Well after the blessing, he wasnt healed bt he
is now in the best condition for months and he isnt suffereing. He was
smiling for days. Another miracle (she just doesnt know it) ROcio
broke up with her bum couch potato boyfriend. but more thaon anything
she has commited to living the ley de castidad! after 6 months she is
ready to be baptised! white chocolate miracles, we have baptisms this
week if everything goes well 4! cherry chocolate miracles, after omar
was baptized his leg became strong enotugh to no longer use a cane!
CHocolate with carmel, we found a family married and they are best
rfriends with members SCORE! Chocolate nut miracles... well I just had
to throw those in the box because mom loves them and goes nuts for
details.
the best thing about this weeks episode is that
these are only the best ¨jokes¨or ¨details¨that made the cut. I have
lists more of miracles that only missionaries consider worth hearing. I
am so grateful for every single one of these delcious momnets and my
converbelt coknnection. Everyone of us can apply lucys life lessons in
our own little worlds... promisme! I am full to the rim with joy.
Thats all this week folks, until next monday. NOw grab some choco motion and stir crazy and have a good laugh. Dust of those VHS, I wont mind. VIVA LA PEPA!

Bubbus sent me a talk on faith, and this is my reply ,
1. because of faith , I have seen angy wrinkly old men with the gospeel change into santa clauses number two.
2. because of faith I have been healed physically, spiritually, and emotionally through the power of the priesthood
3.because of faith I have found a way to comcmnicate with an al poweroful rluler of the world.
4. because of faith i have learened trust, obedience, honesty, and confidence.
5. because of faith I have seen a lossening of tongues and the gift of discerment.
6.because of faith I have seen gods hands here on earth , I have seen answers to pleading crys
7. because of my faith I take my fears and lay them aside knowing with an assurity that they can become strengths.
8. because of my faith I h can b happy and excited despite how many doors are slammed in my face and baptism invites rejected.
9. because of my faith I have beeen able to lose myself knowing that some one else can do a lot better for my life than I can.
10.because
of my faith I will always work to e faithful, knowing for an assurance
that if I do my part my family will be together forever!

GO FIGHT WIN!!! I have two scriptures for my bubbus this week, the first
Proverbs 4:12 ¨Where tho goest , thy steps shall not be straitenedñ and when thou runnest thou salt not stumble¨

¨...for it is not requisite that a bubbus should run faster than she
has strength in the ragnar, however it is expedient that bubbus has been
diligent and therefor will win the prize. Therefore the other runners
should just forfeit now. AMEN¨
See how I used both the bible and book of moromon to
support eachother. Golden. Now there isnt a question about the results
of the run, although miles away I will be cheering you on, and am even
considering running from house to house the whole day in honor of you!
